03 an hour The Field and Finance Support Specialist is responsible for assisting with claims, corrections to missing or denied claims, monitoring documentation in the Ohio EHR, gathering support and documentation needed.
The Field and Finance Support Specialist will also manage the status of claims invoices and denials, identifying opportunities for claim submission.
Will also support any claims correction and processing by collaboration with clinical and finance staff for efficient and accurate payments.
May perform other duties as assigned to support the Ohio field staff.
The incumbent will support and uphold a commitment to racial and ethnic equity and antiracism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Gathers and maintains support needed for accurate claim submission.
Manages status of claims and denials through accurate logging of claims corrections and submissions.
While maintaining current records.
Adheres to timely filing requirements and collaborates with clinical staff and finance staff to resolve unbillable claims.
Verifies the accuracy of documented information through reconciliation to EHR system.
Corresponds with Choices Care Coordinators to determine validity of documentation for T and G codes.
Has a strong understanding of OhioRISE codes and necessary documentation.
Assists operations and clinical staff with monthly documentation, needed for monthly claims reporting.
Serves as a back-up to the support specialist.
Provides customer support to Choices' providers and internal partners who are utilizing Choices EHR system.
Willingly completes other duties as assigned to meet the strategic and financial objectives of Choices.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or related studies, or two years of experience directly related to position duties.
Strong customer service skills Highly organized and detail oriented.
Knowledge of Medicaid and MCO billing is required.
Intermediate to advanced skills in EXCEL, experienced in data analysis, creating spreadsheets, and generating reports.
Access to reliable transportation.
If driving an automobile while on company business, must possess a valid driver's license in state of residence and auto insurance.
Demonstrated ability to:

Effectively communicate to various internal and external audiences in both person and through various electronic media.

Salary:
