Responsibilities include Supervision of the activities related to receipts, inventory control, and/or shipping of materials, capital, consumables and finished goods.
Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control.
Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures.
Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Work within the specified budget for the department and order supplies as required.
Track and maintain costs in Spend Tracker and escalate any abnormal expenditures.
Works with Lam Foreign Trade to be certain that Silfex complies with all company and government guidelines.
Maintains accurate international records.
Creation of standard work for various processes and adherence to documented procedures.
Oversee inventory control of consumable items through proper put away, checkout, labeling, location control, and cycle counting.
Provide support to value streams by auditing daily Kanban runs and delivery of requested materials.
Oversee the receipt and shipment of bulk acid and other hazardous materials.
Hazardous Materials certification will need to be obtained.
Maintain Shipping and Receiving SQDC Boards daily.
Ensure transactional integrity in PLEX software for outbound shipments of Silfex finished parts/subcontract parts and inbound shipments of materials to maintain a high level of inventory accuracy.
Conduct employee reviews, evaluate employee performance, and make recommendations for promotions and transfers.
Maintain cross training plan for departmental shift employes, including safety, quality, and standard work and maintain training matrices.
Manages department attendance and time off requests to ensure production is not negatively impacted.
Direct team members with their assignments and expectations on a daily basis.
Analyze and resolve work problems or assists employees in solving work problems.
Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed.
Seeks additional responsibilities and or projects.
Application of Lean concepts, including 5S.
Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the Silfex Quality Management System and properly apply Quality and Operating Procedures as appropriate.
Follow all company safety policies and report any unsafe conditions to Logistics Manager, EHS Manager, and/ or Sr.
Director of Operations.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below represent the knowledge, skill, and ability required.
Associates Degree required in Business Administration, Management, Engineering or related field; or equivalent work experience Three to five years of manufacturing experience and one to three years supervisory/team lead experience; or equivalent combination of experience Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or government regulations Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public A general understanding and responsibilities of the Shipping and Receiving departments Proficient in Microsoft Office products Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios to practical situations Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists Must be able to work effectively individually and in a team environment Must be able to pay close attention to details Must be able to perform successfully under minimum supervision Must be able to establish credibility with management, staff, and employees Physical Demands:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
